23 November 2012

On November 23rd, at exactly 2214, I am...

STARVING for a BIG bowl of this...

Just talked to her
(and her older brother)...
Thinking of this little one
(and all my grandkids and kids)...
HUNGRY for this (in addition to a BIG bowl of pho)...
Wishing I was HERE...
or perhaps HERE...
Dreaming of THIS...
(even though one of my SILs won't be happy about that thought)
but also dreaming of sunshine and blue skies...
And DOING this...
except it isn't the middle of summer,
it is definitely NOT dry, warm, sunny and light outside
and it's not nearly as fun to do laundry using my clothes dryer--
but it does work:)

What are you up to?

Oh yea--instead of the yummy pho
and equally delicious Irish Stew,
I just had some pretty tasty challah bread with sharp cheddar cheese melted all over it.

But I am still hungry...

Blessings,
Aimee

A BIG thank you to Bambuza Bistro, Kell's, Woodland Lavender, OSU Hatfield Marine Science Center and Rhodo DQ for their kind permission to take and post photos here...
can hardly wait to visit all of you again:)

Isn't it funny how one can want seemingly opposite things at the same time :) Point in case, I love clothes dried on the line on a sunny warm day, yet at the moment I have a yen to see snow falling! Happy Weekend! xx Gracie

oh dear, when where you at the lavendar field? I was there in July with my friend! I am trying to get some hamburger put away and get a pkg ready to go to a friend in Japan where her husband is serving with the Marines. Worked today and am tired as usual. Got a few Christmas lights up outside on our rhody but need to add two more sets to it to make it look better. I look for the sunshine as well. Right now there's not much, huh? There's a little lake in our garage from too hard of a south rain. Should have swept it out tonight. Sigh! Hugs and happy days even though it rains! Take care!

Hi, Becky!
Oh--that is not good about your garage. I hope the rain getting inside doesn't cause it to mold.

I am SO glad you made it to the lavender fields! Even though I grow lavender here, there is nothing like walking through large fields of it:) I'm sorry I missed you--which farm did you go to? This year we did the festival in Yamhill and about 6 farms near that area. I even got my hubby to one farm this year:)

Good luck with all your projects! I am thinking of putting lights out too---if our rain ever stops:)

Advent Blessings,
Aimee

Hello fellow PNW'er: I stumbled across your blog, and have to tell you I also love Timberline Lodge and the Rhody DQ. I'm a hiker and skier and spend lots of time up on Hood, my favorite mtn. Good day to you!

Hi, Linda!
Thanks for stopping by and taking time to leave a comment! Yes, the Timberline Lodge and Mt Hood are AWESOME!
I used to downhill ski (in my youth) but haven't for sometime now...I remember it though with fond memories :)
Have a great weekend!
Blessings,
Aimee
