Giving Thanks: November 1-3

I LOVE the month of November

and I LOVE the holiday of Thanksgiving!

In fact, to tell you the truth, I can hardly wait for October to

end just to get to the month of November.

Thinking of November brings up many happy thoughts and one of these is being thankful for all the blessings we have in our life and that is just what Lime (one of my fav Norwegian bloggers) and some of my friends and family are doing. For the whole month they are posting something they are grateful for each day...because, really, we should be thankful daily.
SO I am going to try my best to do the same thing,

but, as usual, I am a bit (ha, ha) behind--having lost myself in the colors of this day:

the blue of the sky (in places), the color of the dogwood outside my window, a friend's adventures, my daughter's texts to me, the music on my favorite radio...

that's it!

November 3:I am SO thankful today that Jesus loves me,

Jesus loves even me!

I am so glad that our Father in Heav’n
Tells of His love in the Book He has giv’n;
Wonderful things in the Bible I see,
This is the dearest, that Jesus loves me.

Refrain:

I am so glad that Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves me, Jesus loves me.
I am so glad that Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves even me.

Though I forget Him, and wonder away,
Still He doth love me wherever I stray;
Back to His dear loving arms do I flee,
When I remember that Jesus loves me.

(refrain)

Oh, if there’s only one song I can sing,
When in His beauty I see the great King,
This shall my song through eternity be,
“Oh, what a wonder that Jesus loves me!”

(refrain)

Jesus loves me, and I know I love Him;
Love brought Him down my poor soul to redeem;
Yes, it was love made Him die on the tree;
Oh, I am certain that Jesus loves me!

(refrain)

In this assurance I find sweetest rest,
Trusting in Jesus, I know I am blessed;
Satan, dismayed, from my soul now doth flee,
When I just tell him that Jesus loves me.

Yes today, and everyday, I am SO thankful that-

Jesus Loves Even Me!

And to catch up on my thanks-giving...

November 1:

I am SO thankful for a husband who God has blessed with SO many talents,

especially this week when our kitchen faucet handle broke off . TY Farmer Boy:)

November 2:

I am SO thankful for having been blessed with a mom who called Jesus her Friend, her Savior and her Lord. I am SO thankful to have been blessed with a mom that made her family and her God her priority. I am SO thankful that her legacy is written, not on some stone monument but on hearts and souls that will live on eternally. TY mom--we will never, ever forget you:)

Do you have anything you are thankful for today?

Blessings, Aimee

and now I am on my way to our kitchen to make cookies to bless my Farmer Boy with this evening.

Autumn Morning: pt 2

After awhile I went outside...

to stroll amidst the many bamboo,

to feed my soul with the beauty of God's creation.

To drink in the beauty of the season...

and this crisp autumn morn.

To savor the peace and serenity to be found in the garden.

Thank you Lord for autumn;
thank you Lord for life.
~

He has made everything beautiful in its time...
I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that men will revere Him.
Ecclesiastes 3:11a, 14 NIV 1984

Be blessed,
Aimee

Autumn Morning: pt 1

One morning, last month, I woke up in a place not my own.

A place of angels and bamboo.

A place of warmth.

~

But I wasn't alone.

Someone else was there

and they

were watching me.

And I don't think she liked my camera.

Or could it be she is more an afternoon person, like me.

Good morning kitty; good morning to you too:)

Blessings, Aimee
