Scenes Of The Bay + Seashore For Your Saturday

Blessed Saturday to you all!

Today Farmer Boy and I are quite busy working on house repairs (him) and the garden (me).
Therefore I am going to keep this post rather short so I can get back outside:)
SO much to do...

As is always the case, my body may be in our garden on this Saturday,
but my heart is along the bay--
the beautiful, wonderful bay.

How I would LOVE to be anywhere along its shores right now...
at Kilchis Point Reserve,
Bayocean County Park,
Garibaldi,
anywhere.

How I would love to be eating some fish there right now or maybe a yummy shrimp salad.

But it isn't to be,
 and a almond butter and organic honey sandwich will have to do for lunch today.

 God willing, it won't be too long before I will yet again
be walking the familiar sands of our beaches and bays,

(Photo: seagulls at Rockaway Beach--just north of Tillamook Bay)

admiring the lovely offshore rock formations,

or watching with interest the workers ready the historic train before she takes off along the shore.

But for now, all these lovely pastimes will have to wait till we take care of things here at home.

And, sadly, this blog will have to be put on hold for awhile too.
Hopefully by then I will be able to post more recent photos of raindrops :(

Until we meet again.

Blessings & peace to you,
Aimee

Ahh! Lovely ohotos of the beach. Oh how I miss it. We're hoping to make a trip your way in October. Most likely to Lincoln City, but then we explore up and down the coast.
Blessings,
Betsy

was especially interested to note the train you showed near Rockaway Beach. I imagine that could be fun to ride. I hope you are able to finish the house projects. Have you been enveloped in smoke in your neck of the woods? Today has been the worst for us, and it looks like tomorrow may be smokey, too. May
God bless us with rain! ss

@Betsy~
Thank you. I am so glad you enjoyed them! Early October should be nice and much less crowded too. Lincoln City is an awesome place to start at--enjoy!
Blessings,
Aimee

@Gracie~
Isn't that the greatest? One day I would like to take a ride on it.
Ah--thanks! Lots of prayers going up lately re: home repairs. Sorry about your smoke. It seems like everywhere we go there's smoke. I believe another fire started today along the Sunset highway. I agree--may God grant our prayers for a rain blessing!
Blessings,
Aimee

I was thinking about going to the coast as well as my daughter may be going. Not sure since there's a fire near Willamina but the coast seems clear. We've had smoke in the air today and not sure about tomorrow. I stayed home and baked zucchini muffins right before dinner. So good. Grated 2 zucchini so have some left over for more baked goodies. Have a good weekend and hopefully you'll get caught up at home. Your photos of the coast are so inviting! :0)

Praying that your load is lifted soon and that you can be able to breath deep...the Lord bless you and keep you, may His face shine upon you and give you peace...

@Becky~
Thank you! I hope you were able to make it to the coast this weekend! Glad the smoke has cleared up for western OR and am hoping they get the fires controlled in Manning and Willimina areas. AND, I hope we get real rain this coming weekend.
Zucchini muffins sound very yummy right now! My best friend was over today and she's making zucchini bread. Between her and you, I am now craving it:)
My hubby has done very well on his house project but it's going to be awhile before it's completely done.
Blessings, Aimee

@Linda~
Thank you! I think most of us Oregonians and Washingtonians have a very soft spot in their heart for our beautiful beaches:)
Hope the smoke didn't bother you much this past weekend.
Blessings,
Aimee

@Ellen~
Thank you! That means a GREAT deal to me:) May God do the same to you!!!
Blessings,
Aimee

I enjoyed your beach photos... I always hear the call of the ocean breezes and waves. We are resting up from our 12 day camping trip. Beautiful sunny weather. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
