Short + Sweet

June 26, 2013 evening
My DH picks me a bowl of yummy, juicy, sweet homegrown marionberries to eat--
which I do:)

June 27, 2013 morning...
someone needs a healthy snack too.

No bowl needed.

Mmm.

I am always glad to trade some of our yummy Oregon berries for a few photos:)

And now it's time for me to get to watering and other tasks before the heat gets really bad.
Stay cool my friends, stay cool and safe.

Blessings,
Aimee

Sad, sad day in Arizona.
May God be with those who have lost family members fighting the wildfires there.

Hi Aimee, it's been really hot "up the street" from you too. We're melting. Today's a bit better but yesterday was really bad. Berries look pretty darn good.

Your bowl of berries looks delicious. I haven't heard any news about Arizona fires, but I'll look it up as soon as I post this comment. So sad.

@Sam~
You need to come visit our coast--I know you would love it as much as our dear daughter dog does and I know everyone would love you! We usually can count on it being a bit cooler there too!

I am glad to hear it is a wee bit better today for you--the dogs and I will be SO glad when this heat wave ends! We finally out our window a/c up yesterday--it was just TOO much!

Sam--do you like berries too?
Blessings,
Aimee

@Betsy~
They were fabulous--I am hoping it cools down soon so I can get some more!

Yes, prayers for the families of the lost. I cannot even imagine their pain...
Blessings,
Aimee

They were wonderful! I can hardly wait to have some more:)
Yes, very sad news from Arizona--the community they worked out of is devastated from the loss of the firefighters. I hope the heat wave in the west begins to moderate soon.
Blessings,
Aimee

Oh my goodness.. those big juicy berries looks delish! You must be quite in the countryside to have deer there.. we have only seen one in our yard in the 30 years we've lived here.. in the dark of night when we pulled in our driveway, there it was! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

@Teresa~
They were yummy and my DH tells me we have more ripened blueberries now too:)
What a surprise that must have been! We have had various deer sightings over the years; our neighbors to the south have more though, and one of them even had a red fox sighting! Now that's something I would love to see-as long as I was in a safe place that is!
Blessings,
Aimee
