The Life + (Recent) Times of Aimee

Recently my life included lovely moments like this one--
at a newly discovered (for me that is) beach.

And exciting moments like this...

and this...

enjoying the wonders of this new and interesting place!

And then there were neat moments like this...

not our catch,  but those of a very blessed family
 who would be enjoying a very yummy dinner later that day!
Mmm. BBQ fish...

And recently my life included a few anxious moments watching this drone...

and thinking the entire time,
I hope they know what they're doing
(as it flew and dived over our car--again and again)
Fortunately they did
:)

Then, of course, there were those memorable moments on the other side of the coast range...

but you'll have to wait awhile to see those times because I need to get some sleep so I can spent
a LOT of moments today catching up on housework.

Wishing you a blessed week full of memorable moments!
Blessings,
Aimee

Beautiful pictures Aimee. I've never even heard of that park before. Is it right in Lincoln City? The one of all the shells is wonderful. Oh, I miss the ocean. How blessed you are to get to visit it so often. Thanks for taking me with you through photos though, it's the next best thing! :-)
Blessings,
Betsy

Gorgeous photos, made me feel like I was actually there enjoying the beauty as well! Thank you for stopping by my daughter's blog! She was so excited to get a comment :-) It's something she has wanted to do for awhile! I think our chicks will become quite an adventure for us all, lol! Yes to answer your question the maple flavored cotton candy is delicious! Sweet... but good! ;-) Have a great day!!

Blessings,
Jill

Oh Aimee, everything looks so beautiful! I miss the Okanogan Highlands and the ocean (island)
How strange: here - in Brussels - I miss the West Coast and there I miss Home.

Hi Aimee, you have some very scenic moments in your life. We like those moments too and hope that you live a long, long time to see more.

Wonderful photos of some of the treasures of the sea. One never tires of poking about in tidal pools or along the shore.
Looking forward to seeing what's been happening on the other side of the mountains, too.

I always enjoy your seaside photos. I sure would love to catch some fish like that and make them for dinner. Enjoy your week. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

@Linda~
Thanks! It was really exciting to find tidepools in LC :)
Blessings,
Aimee
PS: More snow on our beloved mountains!

@Betsy~
Thank you! Milo McIver State Park is where the last photo was taken. It is located near Estacada. The tidepool and rocky beach photos were all taken in Lincoln City, in the Oceanlake area of the city-- 15th street ramp beach (a drive on beach--if you dare--or you can park on local streets and take the multiple flights of stairs). The other park (fish and drone photos) is Regatta, located on D Lake's west side. Great park for kiddos as it has a play area and small sandy beach too plus some other neat stuff). I am glad you had a good time on our trip--it was fun to bring you along:)
Blessings,
AImee

@Jill~
Thanks! Yea, I love it when people feel as if they are there enjoying themselves too! You are so very welcome! It was a privilege to welcome your daughter to the world of blogging:):) I still can't believe there is such a thing as maple flavored cotton candy...but I LOVE maple flavoring so I would try it!
Have a good week.
Blessings,
Aimee

@Noelle~
Thank you! Sadly we missed the lovely golden hour of photography, but it still was awesome and I'd gladly go again. I know what you mean Noelle. Too bad we can't be transported as easily and quickly as they did the characters in Star Trek:)
God bless you too and enjoy yourself!
Blessings,
Aimee

@Sam~
I do try to include as many scenic moments as possible:) Ah, you are SO sweet--thanks and the same wish back at ya!
Blessings,
Aimee
PS: I am STILL hungry for that salmon you know:)

@Lorrie~
Thank you! I sure enjoyed your photos the other day--so beautiful!
Blessings,
Aimee

@Teresa~
Thanks! Mmm. Me too--the guy even told me how to cook the fish. They were both quite fun to talk to:) Have a great week also! I hear we're going to get a few days of sun soon.
Blessings,
Aimee

Wonderful photos as ever. Thank you.

I hate it when housework gets in the way of what we want to do. I tried taking photos of dust and clutter ... not much fun!

God bless.

@Victor~
Thanks! LOL. You should come to my house. Recently, in addition to the dust and clutter, a skunk took up residence--again--under our house:)
Blessings,
Aimee

Thanks for sharing the beautiful photos of the beach, Aimee...sorry to know a skunk is trying to take up residence with you!!! xx

@Gracie~
You are most welcome:) No skunk in the trap yet and I haven't heard or smelled anything strange today, so I am hoping against hope that said skunk has left.

Beautiful moments and slightly scary ones too... I've yet to see a Drone and really don't want to. But I'm sure we all will be used to them eventually. The Oregon beach scenes make me a bit homesick as usual.... Oh well, summer is coming!

@Sallie~
It was really interesting I must say. I had never seen one in person before. Summer is coming for sure and you can have some lovely Oregon beach time then:) Just to let you know, this week we had snow in the mountains (Cascades and Coast Range); by next week the temps are supposed to be in the high 70s. Got to love it.
Blessings, Aimee

Hope you are getting caught up on life. Sorry I've been MIA in the blogging world. Been so busy getting the kids through their homeschool year before baby comes. Only 22 more days until due date!

I'm so excited for you!!!
