Saturday saw Farmer Boy working in our yard...
pruning, weeding, burning (ick),
raking, hauling and watching a red tail hawk in the skies above us.
So much still to do, but there's improvement--yippee!
Sunday found us here--
watching the wave action against the north jetty of Tillamook Bay,
Admiring Twin Rocks from a little different perspective.
(Here's the more famous view--http://aimeeonthemountainside.blogspot.com/2012_09_23_archive.html)
Watching our youngest grandchild write letters in the sand...
and get her toes all sandy.
Hiking a bit in the Tillamook forest where there's lots of moss and...
the beautiful Wilson River!
It was a pretty incredible day -- a day filled with lots of time in God's gardens
(which are always my favorite gardens).
So much to do this week.
How about you?
Blessings,
Aimee

Oh what a pretty place. Your granddaughter looks like she was having a blast playing in the sand. Have a blessed day!
I don't know where you love Aimee, but I am so jealous that it's close enough for day trips to the Oregon coast, one of my favorite places on earth. Beautiful pictures. Thank you for sharing.
Blessings,
Betsy
Good for your guy to get started on the yard cleanup. We have a ton of that to do. Gorgeous shots of the ocean and our mossy forests. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
@Terri~

Love your photos of the coast, the river, and the moss! Great shots! And your granddaughter is a cutie!
I feel refreshed by reading your post, Aimee, and can almost smell the ocean through my computer screen :) Thanks for posting! xx
Sounds a whole lot like what my daughter told me about their Oregon weekend. This time of year I always get a bad attack of wanting to be in two places at once.
Beautiful coastal forest scenes.
@Bethany~
Thanks very much:)

Aimee
@Gracie~

Thanks! It was very nice all over Oregon that weekend. I hear ya--this is quite unusual weather though. We're supposed to get to the high 60s, possibly 70 soon.

@Jill~
It has been such a severe winter for you and others. I hope that soon you'll be blessed with better weather! Ah--planting a garden sounds nice. We grow a lot of fruit here, but generally I don't plant a lot of veggies. Hoping to one day though:)
Blessings,
Aimee
