Holy Week Blessings II

Sometimes blessings show up when we need them the most...
when our hearts ache with the loss of long held dreams.
Sometimes blessings come unexpectedly
in the form of sunny days in early spring...
Sometimes they come in golden moments at the seashore.
Sometimes blessings take the form of simple play
and bring back memories of times spent with our children at the same beach.
And all these blessings--
they combine to fill our hearts until they overflow with the sweetness and wonder of it all!
Yes, blessings sometimes show up unexpectedly.
And we feel reborn when they do.
Have you been the recipient of an unexpected blessing recently?

Blessings,
Aimee

I guess that my blessings recently weren't unexpected, spending time with our kids and grandkids.. but blessings, none-the-less. Your time at the beach looks wonderful. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

Kids and grandkids are definite blessings Teresa-whether expected or unexpected! I am really happy you had such a great time over the Easter weekend and on your anniversary:)
Maybe you and I can share the unexpected blessing of last week's beautiful, summerlike weather?
More blessings to you!

My unexpected blessings was a 2 hour FaceTime chat with our son in Japan. Usually we just have quick phone calls because of the time difference, but Saturday night we were able to really visit-and see his face at the same time. I loved it!
Blessings,
Betsy

Love your photos of the kids playing on the beach. I have lots of good memories taking my kids there when they were little. Happy belated Easter!

Blessings indeed. Love the bare feet in the sand. Can't wait for the spring to come to our place as well!!

Hugs.

Hi AnneBerit,
How kind of you to visit and leave some comments!
I agree with you on your sand comment! I wish every weekend was like that Friday...alas this weekend at the coast was cold and windy, but still -- as always -- beautiful! And, as an extra bonus for the rain, I saw about a dozen waterfalls (and mini waterfalls) in the coast range.
Blessings always,
Aimee
PS: I always wish for an early spring for my blogging friends in Norway:)

oh I love the ocean beaches. I am headed out to the tulip field in Woodburn this afternoon. Mid to late afternoon, if you are gonna be close. You have my number. I am doing ok with typhoid pills so far. I make sure I take antiacid during the day. Took one before going to bed the first night I took it. Take another one late today. Bearable, no diaherra. Counting down the days with excitement for sure! Hugs.

Becky,
So happy that you had family to celebrate with on Easter Sunday!
Will look forward to seeing your photos when you can get them posted:)
Yikes! We were just at the tulip farm yesterday:( I am SO sorry...it was one of my spur of the moment decisions and fortunately a friend was able to come with me. I know you will have a great time though--it is gorgeous out there right now (full color) and we had a really great time!
Yea on the typhoid pills! Every day brings you one day closer:)
Blessings always,
Aimee
