Month of Love: Day 15

Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us,
that we should be called the sons of God...

Up late (because of several factors) I awoke to this beautiful blue sky
and after taking care of our smallest dog, went for a stroll in the gardens...
what a gift such a day like this is!
Everywhere I looked I could see the first signs of spring...
and I almost felt like crying--
not from unhappiness or pain but
from sheer joy:)
And now,
as I sit comfortably curled up on our recliner,
with light streaming through the window
(which by the way is opened all the way),
listening to my favorite radio station playing 'Friday favorites',
I can't help but feel loved by Him who made all this beauty around me
and sent His only begotten Son to save me:)
Is it sunny where you are?
What beautiful scene have you seen lately?

Wishing you all a happy weekend whether your weather is sunny OR cloudy:)
Blessings,
Aimee

beautiful, wonderful, incredible sunlight!

It is so sunny here today and 52 degrees in E. Oregon! We don't have anything blooming but Josiah said he saw a tiny shoot of volunteer lettuce in the garden. Yay! Left you a comment on my blog. Hope you have a wonderful day!

The sun is shining brightly here in Spokane today too and oh my, it is so, so welcome! We've had quite a string of dreary days. I just read this today and it reminded me of the long winter days and all the sicknesses around lately.
"Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him. " Psalm 34:8
I just need to be patient. The Lord IS good. The sun WILL come out eventually and I WILL get better. :-)
Have a wonderful weekend!
Blessings,
Betsy

It was kinda sunny here then it's cloudy. Really nice on Thurs and saw Mt Hood in all her beauty. I'm fighting a cold the best I can and go to work tomorrow. Have a good week!

Yep, I've noticed the birds are singing in the morning, and the frogs are croaking in the evening. Spring is on its way! :)

And to answer your question, I skied Alta and Solitude when I was in SLC. Tons of fun! You'll hear all about it soon.

Yep that lovely mixture of weather we often get...but at least it is good to have something other than just gray! And you saw Mt. Hood? Love that beautiful mountain :-)
Sorry to hear you are still fighting illness~this has been a bad winter for so many. Hope work tomorrow goes quickly so you can get back home and rest.
Blessings, Aimee

Oh how I love both of those sounds...and how I get excited as everyday puts us one day closer to spring!
You did go to Alta~yippee! I never made it up there, but I did make it to Snowbird located down from there one summer and fell in love with its beauty! I have a big smile on my face as I think of the photos soon to appear on your blog :-) BTW my daughter lives in Utah and I am always jealous of her view of those beautiful mountains and snowfall!
Glad you had such an incredible time!
Blessings, Aimee
