Scenes of the Season: Christmas 2012

Reindeer and tomte/nisse
yummy stollen
An angel music box, tablecloth and...
a favorite dinnerware pattern from my past -- all connections to my mom whom I miss daily
but especially at this time of the year.
The makings of jul neg...
and an annual Nordic Christmas tree.
and light,
lots and lots of light in this time of sadness (for some)
and darkness.
Light
to remind me of the Light of the World who is Christ Jesus.
Blessings on this late December morn,
Aimee

Teresa~
Thank you. Christmas was OK---it was a bit difficult with being sick, remodeling and not having kids or grandkids around:(
I will definitely let you know about the lunch...of course if you keep posting your beautiful Multnomah Falls photos, I may just have to show up one day unannounced!
Blessings always,
Aimee

Hope you are feeling better and better as the days fly by, Aimee. I enjoyed viewing the pictures you posted! The wheat is especially beautiful and encouraging to me. My second grade teacher was also a dear family friend and one Christmas she made a wheat weaving in a shadow box for me which we currently have hung in our kitchen. May your new year be filled with good health, finished house projects and warm fellowship with folks you love. xx from Gracie

Thank you Gracie! I am feeling better--just tired and coughing at times. I'm glad you enjoyed the photos...I LOVE wheat weavings and have several too:) You must (if you would be so kind) post a photo of yours someday.
Blessings to you and your family in the new year also.
Blessings always,
Aimee
