Every day they meet me in the garden for our little rendezvous...
the dragonflies of red, orange, green and blue.
There they dance above the water lilies and parrot's feather--
landing, at times, on nearby branches of the plants that surround the ponds.
I wonder if they know how happy they make me
and how much I look forward to our daily rendezvous'.

Dragonflies are a wonder :) :) There are so MANY that constantly fly around the apartment complex where I live. They move so fast, I rarely see their colors. MOst are a sort of dark turquoise blue. They're gentle and they flit around everywhere...almost like they're trying to get one's attention :) :) have a great week. Love and hugs, Heather :)
They do dart here and there, don't they? Yours sound beautiful:)
