Lazy Days of Summer? I Don't Think So!

I've heard it said that summer is filled with lazy days,
and when I was a child it seemed like this season went on and on--
till one actually became a little bored with it.

But things have changed since then--
and this summer the days have been anything
but lazy or boring!
Here are some of the things we've been doing this summer
(and this was just part of one day).
We've been...

jumping
(well mostly one of us has been).

And we've been doing some running too
(again mostly one of us).

We've been doing some crafts--
molding (dinosaurs of course)

and learning to make sand 'casts' too.

And we've been doing a whole lot of dog watching, dog petting and dog hugging
(because we are all HUGE dog lovers)!
This is for you Sam:)

We've also been trying some new things...

but sometimes not enjoying them very much at all:)

But the best thing we've been doing this summer is hugging...
LOTS and LOTS of hugging,
and truly that is making these not so lazy days of summer a most wonderful time!

So what are you doing these days?
Blessings,
Aimee

  1. Wonderful beach photos. I haven't been to a beach in the UK this year (we live as far from the sea as you can get unfortunately) but did see the Med when we went to Spain in February.

    @Helen~
Thank you Helen--we do love our beaches!
I didn't realize that parts of the UK were not close to the beach--I really hope that you make it there before the summer's up! The Mediterranean--wow! I would love, love, love to visit that area:)

  5. Such lovely things you're doing too! I agree that this summer especially is seeming to just fly by. The pictures of your granddaughter are precious.
We're still enjoying time with family and I've only been online once or twice very fleetingly but I'm hoping to have a nice post soon with lots of pictures of our few days with our family.
    Blessings,

Thanks so much for taking time to leave a comment! I LOVE hearing from visitors and your comments most always leave a BIG smile on my face and sometimes a little giggle too! I do moderate comments to ensure a family friendly blog and also to catch any spam so your comment won't post immediately unless I am online at that time. However, I do check for comments regularly. If you don't see your comment post within a day or two, it's most often due to it being a Sunday (when I limit my Internet use) or, at times, a computer issue. Again thanks and have a GREAT day:)
Blessings, Aimee
