Morning Garden

A knock on the door and barking dogs changed my rising time this morning...
a blessing because it got me outside before the heat of the day.
Our pink roses made me smile;
the color pink in the garden always makes me smile:)
In the miniature rose garden colorful roses of white, orange and more
also made today all the more blessed.
An extra treat was finding the Lady's Mantle rimmed with dew..
in the light it looked like tiny ice crystals--
so BEAUTIFUL!
(I rewarded that garden by a morning watering)
An early Mother's Day gift from my DDIL and family
found a new home on top of a lacy tablecloth on our east deck.
I feel the call to have tea out there now...
Two familiar birds greeted me and the morning light with their melodies of perfection...
so wish I knew what the lyrics to their song were.
And now, time to get back to my tasks...
Blessings,
Aimee

  3. Hi Aimee:

Thank you for the sweet comment on my blog. I hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day too! I think my favorite of your pictures is the dew on the Ladie's Mantle. So pretty and delicate although your roses are beautiful too.

    Have a wonderful weekend.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  4. Beautiful pink rose! Could the bird be a wren or sparrow? I'm off to Multnomah Falls! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

TY! I love the pink too--of course, you already knew that:)
TY so much for your help with the bird ID. I will check on both of those and see if it is a match. I am not as good with identifying birds as I wish I was :(
Oh---I bet Multnomah Falls was gorgeous today!
Have a very happy Mother's Day this weekend:)

  10. Hi Willow!
Welcome and thank you SO much for taking time to leave a comment!
Yes, that sure is an American Eskimo! We actually have three of them and think they are an awesome dog! That is SO neat that you had one as a child...I am sure Tinker meant a lot to you and that you have very special memories of him:)
    Have a great weekend!

I noticed that you are interested in genealogy...so am I! Isn't it fun to learn about your family's heritage while at the same time exploring our nation's (and other nation's) history?
TY so much for visiting and have a wonderful weekend!

Thanks so much for taking time to leave a comment! I LOVE hearing from visitors and your comments most always leave a BIG smile on my face and sometimes a little giggle too! I do moderate comments to ensure a family friendly blog and also to catch any spam so your comment won't post immediately unless I am online at that time. However, I do check for comments regularly. If you don't see your comment post within a day or two, it's most often due to it being a Sunday (when I limit my Internet use) or, at times, a computer issue. Again thanks and have a GREAT day:)
Blessings, Aimee
