Missing You...

Our magical time with you was all too short.
Each moment together everything seemed brighter and more fun...
from eating sushi, mochi ice cream and pizza,
to our time at the beach
and at the Enchanted Forest.
Soon
I found myself becoming more like you...
sliding down a big yellow SHOE slide
and walking through a crooked house!
You made me feel like a child again--
I miss feeling that way because it is a whole lot of fun!
I am very grateful that you both are part of our lives
and hope that we can spend more time together soon:)

Thank God for the sweet blessing of grandchildren--
in the autumn of your life these blessings
are far better than anything money can buy!

Blessings always,
Aimee

Notes:
a BIG thank you to the incredible staff at Enchanted Forest.
From the first phone call to the last goodbye, you were awesome!
Thank you too for permission to post photos on my blog...
we made some magical memories there:)
As per usual, I am not associated with EF but have loved every visit there.
Here is their website should you be interested in learning more:

For sure! So fun that, with the help of the Internet and our blogs, we've been able to share in each others lives and 'meet' each others grandblessings:)

  7. Oh, this post brings back so many memories. I remember my mom taking Stacie and I to Enchanted Forest several times while growing up. I hope to be able to take my kids, too someday.

    P.S. Your granddaughter is adorable!

It is one of my most favorite places--even as an adult I find it wonderful!
Glad to bring back some good memories for you:) SO hope you can take your kids there someday (Hint: get there early)-- I think they would love it; I know our grandkids sure did.
    Blessings,
    Aimee
PS: Thanks, I think she is too:)

Thanks so much for taking time to leave a comment! I LOVE hearing from visitors and your comments most always leave a BIG smile on my face and sometimes a little giggle too! I do moderate comments to ensure a family friendly blog and also to catch any spam so your comment won't post immediately unless I am online at that time. However, I do check for comments regularly. If you don't see your comment post within a day or two, it's most often due to it being a Sunday (when I limit my Internet use) or, at times, a computer issue. Again thanks and have a GREAT day:)
Blessings, Aimee
