Morning Showers

This morning (Saturday morning) was noticeably different.
The sky was gray, overcast
and I felt something strange, cool and most wonderful on my bare skin.
The earth had just received a blessing from heaven-
a precious gift from the Creator...
and I was grateful,
very grateful.
My heart felt different today too;
not a lot, I can honestly say,
but I did perceive a tiny change deep within my soul
and
that was a precious gift from the Creator as well.
When Thou saidst,
Seek ye My face;
my heart said unto Thee,
Thy face, LORD, will I seek.
Psalm 27:8 KJV
Blessings,
Aimee

  1. I wonder.. what was the change you felt? I am feeling the end of summer and the beginning of autumn. ::sigh:: The warm days were so very fleeting.

  2. Hi, Teresa~
    Welcome back! Hope your family trip was wonderful (haven't had a chance to drop by your blog this week yet)!

    Ah, the change I felt...it was a spiritual change having to do with the dryness/sadness I have been feeling in my heart for awhile now.

    That being said, I agree--it seems like we have turned the corner and are heading towards autumn now. In a way I am glad as I can't physically tolerate heat, but I am hoping for a loooooooong, a very long early autumn with many sunny, warm--but not hot, days and cool, but not cold, nights (especially since I have travel plans).

    Blessings,
    Aimee

Thanks so much for taking time to leave a comment! I LOVE hearing from visitors and your comments most always leave a BIG smile on my face and sometimes a little giggle too! I do moderate comments to ensure a family friendly blog and also to catch any spam so your comment won't post immediately unless I am online at that time. However, I do check for comments regularly. If you don't see your comment post within a day or two, it's most often due to it being a Sunday (when I limit my Internet use) or, at times, a computer issue. Again thanks and have a GREAT day:)
Blessings, Aimee
