Of Forest, Coast + Family Vacation

Small change of plans here---

because vacation time with our DD + family is here...

and that means the coast, of course!


you will often find beautiful kites like these flying high in the Lincoln City area--

the colors and shapes are truly amazing!

you will also find my favorite--

the seagull!


and piers-

which you can walk under when it is low tide in the Siletz Bay area


This may have been the first time I walked under this one--

I LOVED the pattern of shadows

    HI Aimee,
    Oh I love thet Oregon coast. I'm not sure I've ever been to Lincoln City. However, i have visited Florence and Newport :) :) I remember a few things about Florence - Mo's Restaurant, lots of fat chubby, seals, and a kite shop with lots of brightly-colored kites ;) :) Thanks for sharing your photos ;) :) Oh, I love the ones of the pier, too :) :) Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)

    I love the beach .. but we live with a little forest around our 5 acre farm.. so I guess I love that too. Great photos!!

    Hi, Heather!
    We've been to Florence before too--lots of sand dunes and such. Pretty river too. We have camped before at the State Park a bit south of there.
    This trip we went to Newport + L City. I love the OSU Science Center there and bayfront:)
