The WORD on Wednesday

For, lo, the winter is past,
the rain is over and gone;

The flowers appear on the earth;
the time of the singing of birds is come...
Song of Solomon 2:11-12a KJV
~
Even though the rain is certainly not over here in the PNW,
new blossoms ARE appearing daily!
Again my world is filled with their colors-
the colors of new life!
And in the trees, little birds eagerly sing their spring melodies
causing me to look up towards the sky
as my heart fills with joy at the sights and sounds of the new season!

I am SO thankful for spring!
Are you thankful for anything today?
Something small
but still miraculous?
Something that makes you look up towards the heavens above with thankfulness in your heart?
~
Blessings, Aimee

  1. I love spring in the PNW...and anticipation of the tulip field coming into bloom, now mid April because of the cold. Also loved the big puffy white clouds today and blue sky and sunshine! Felt so good on a walk with hubby this afternoon after scrapbooking with my friend for a few hours. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Am feeling ok this afternoon after a good nights sleep! Hugs!

  2. Glad you are feeling better! So it's mid April for the tulips, huh? TY for letting me know; hope to be able to see them this year!

    A walk in the spring sunshine with your hubby--I call that priceless:)

Thanks so much for taking time to leave a comment! I LOVE hearing from visitors and your comments most always leave a BIG smile on my face and sometimes a little giggle too! I do moderate comments to ensure a family friendly blog and also to catch any spam so your comment won't post immediately unless I am online at that time. However, I do check for comments regularly. If you don't see your comment post within a day or two, it's most often due to it being a Sunday (when I limit my Internet use) or, at times, a computer issue. Again thanks and have a GREAT day:)
