I agree--like those verses :)
Blessings,
Aimeeaimeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08255823818961459112noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-182311653157346128.post-8601736490672220252015-01-29T16:14:33.492-08:002015-01-29T16:14:33.492-08:00The rose in winter is beautiful! Sorry about your cold weather. Our weather here should be colder but its been a very odd winter already -- not that I am complaining.
Blessings,
Aimee

@Terri~
You are SO welcome! Glad it blessed you today:) I agree with you--I will take nature anytime over video games and TV, but I wasn't always like that--although I do recall enjoying climbing trees when I was younger! I will check with my son if it's OK to share the recipe on here--and get back to you. It truly was yummy! Oh, no--thinking about it has made me hungry again:)
Blessings, Aimee

Betsy~
Thank you! How kind of you to say that:) I know I have been posting less, just seem to have little to say since we've been home so much this late autumn/winter. It has been a warm winter...none of our other roses are blooming, just these. It's very odd--but fantastic! I guess we're not alone Betsy. I know my parents had oodles of stuff too--it took years to sort, maybe my sib is still sorting it. Good luck on your sorting! You are SO welcome--I really loved these verses and it blesses me to know others do too.
Blessings,
Aimee

@Teresa~
It's probably the same size as yours-but it does look big, doesn't it? LOVED the flowers on your most recent post---daffodils always make me happy and I keep looking for some. Yep. I am worried about getting a winter storm in February too and keep reading the extended forecasts on Mark Nelson's blog...I am with you in hoping not although I might have to make a trip to Mt Hood or some place just to enjoy some winter snow:)
Blessings,
Aimee

@Lorrie~
Thank you! I hope you will like the finished project--very Nordic and hopefully something the Small One will like:) Oh--it is, it is--I could eat some every week! Yep. That is a big issue with me--I want to be thrifty and a good steward. I have pretty well decided this will be a first sorting and then I'll have to revisit this later.
Blessings,
AImee

@Linda!
I think so too! It's such a pretty pink! Yep, definitely Juneuary:):) I think these two must have belonged to our kids, but am not sure. How cool about you having them when you were younger!
Blessings,
Aimeeaimeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08255823818961459112noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-182311653157346128.post-60285788907126551272015-01-22T19:27:43.787-08:002015-01-22T19:27:43.787-08:00What a lovely rose! I'm just worried that we'll have another ice and snow storm that will harm what is starting to grow! Hope not!
((hugs)), Teresa :-) Teresa Kasnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06228404538876664577noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-182311653157346128.post-47766162552782214262015-01-22T08:07:12.972-08:002015-01-22T08:07:12.972-08:00Good morning Aimee! I'm looking out my window onto snow, snow, snow. I also know what you mean about getting rid of things. I've taken boxes and boxes of stuff to the thrift store this winter and I can't see a dent in all of the "stuff". The care and thank you much for the verse today.
Blessings,
BetsyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-182311653157346128.post-70501655586263557252015-01-22T05:16:02.666-08:002015-01-22T05:16:02.666-08:00A wonderful passage for today- thanks! It was very entertaining watching the kids stand in front of the tv and climb imaginary walls and throw imaginary bowling balls, and the whole time I was thinking- "Is this what our world has come to? Imaginary activity?" I much prefer the smell of the outdoors, the 3-d ordinary every day trees to a flat screen tv..but I'm just old fashioned I guess. That pork sounds yummy- I hope you share the recipe soon. Have a wonderful day!
